Hello friends!
Today we’re jumping back to January 2023 and finishing the month in my 9×12 Project Life album. In the first part of January, my brother, my dad, and my niece were visiting, we went to Paris and I dropped them off at the airport. If you need a refresher (it has been a while!), you can click check out the January 2023 Part 1 blog post where you will find the info and the process video. In this part of January, we were going back to a more normal routine for us.
I printed most of the photos using the Canon Pixma Pro-100 on Costco Kirkland 8.5″x11″ photo paper both of which have been discontinued. For the other photos, I printed them using the Epson PictureMate PM-400 on the Epson paper that comes with the ink and paper pack. I’m using a black [faux] leather 9×12 album from Studio Calico.
- On the sunrise photo, I used a Studio Calico chipboard sticker from one of the Documenter Kits that says “so epic,” on a Paper Person label. I stamped the date using the 1 Canoe 2 roller date stamp (discontinued) using Studio Calico Clean Slate Color Theory ink.
- The 2023 journal card was part of a gift with purchase from Everyday Explorers back in January 2023.
- The hello photo was stamped with the date using the 1 Canoe 2 roller date stamp and “the best part of today” from the Sunnyside stamp set which has been renamed to 6×8 Relax + Enjoy by In A Creative Bubble. The physical stamp set is currently sold out but you can be notified if it is restocked. The Sunnyside digital stamp set is still available. I used Memento Brilliance Moonlight White ink.
- The orange January journal card was part of a gift with purchase from Everyday Explorers back in January 2023. The stamps on this card were from the Studio Calico Lots of Love stamp set (now called “6×8 Just Having Fun by In A Creative Bubble“). The physical stamp set is sold out but the digital is still available.
- I stamped “This makes me happy” from the “lots of love”in Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide and the heart and the journal lines with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide. I stamped the date with the 1 Canoe 2 roller date stamp and Studio Calico Clean Slate Color Theory ink.
- On the first snow photo, I stamped “a true wonderland” in Studio Calico Chambray Color Theory ink and the physical stamp set is now called 6×8 A Little Adventure by in A Creative Bubble and it is sold out, however, the digital Alpine Valley stamp set is still available.
- The “Snow Day” journal card is from the Hello Winter journaling cards by In A Creative Bubble. Anything offered on the In A Creative Bubble website is a digital purchase.
- The “Bundle Up” stamp is also from the 6×8 A Little Adventure by in A Creative Bubble and it is sold out, however, the digital Alpine Valley stamp set is still available. I also stamped this using Studio Calico Chambray Color Theory ink.
- For the happy birthday circle, I purchased the Good Day Sunshine digital printable journal cards from Studio Calico, then I opened the digital card in Silhouette Studio. I made three copies. I made two different size circles and I traced the third and added an offset area. I did then did a print and cut using the Silhouette Cameo 4.
- The number balloon die cuts were from Felicity Jane.
- I used foam circles and squares to add dimension to the happy birthday circle and the balloons.
- I added the journaling in Adobe Photoshop.
- The journal card and the Fresh start acetate are from the Ali Edwards Begin story kit.
- I added a bit of red line tape to the back of the acetate to adhere it to the inside of the pocket so it wouldn’t slide out.
- The red journal card is from the Paper Person Made from Scratch kit. I stamped the date with the 1 Canoe 2 date roller stamp and Studio Calico Clean Slate Color Theory ink.
- I stamped “this was super yummy” from the Feed Your Craft Let’s Eat stamp set and I used StāzOn Jet Black ink on the vellum sticker circles from Heidi Swapp.
- The “This & That” card is from Ali Edwards unfortunately, I don’t remember which kit it is from.
- The dates were stamped in Studio Calico Chambray Color Theory ink using the 1 Canoe 2 roller date stamp.
The blue label is an old one from Ali Edwards. The “quality time together” is from the 6×8 A Little Adventure by in A Creative Bubble/Alpine Valley stamp set which is sold out (the digital set is still available). I used StāzOn Jet Black ink.
- The “currently watching” journal card is from the Now Watching kit from Paper Person Shop.
- The chipboard sticker that says “so grateful for this” is from an old Studio Calico Documenter Kit.
- The grey star paper is from the Postcards paper pad by Lora Bailora, the instant camera is from the You’ve Got Mail Documenter Kit by Studio Calico, I don’t remember where the “ugh” puffy sticker or the “here’s the story” label are from.
- The N + ticket stamp were from the New Episode stamp set from the kit with the same name by Paper Person Shop. The ink used was Tomato Soup also by Paper Person.
