Hello! I can’t believe it’s May already.. it’s getting easier to get back in the swing of things in respect to this blog and the YouTube channel. It really helps my sanity to have a schedule; it’s been really easy to just hang out and play Animal Crossing.
This week, I have two spreads from March 2019 for you… the last day in the Swiss Alps, our trip home, and then some exploring we did around here: hiking, walking around our neighbourhood, the street food festival, and the Japanese Garden. I have included as many details as I could, but if I’m missing anything, please feel free to leave a comment below.
Some background information on how I document: I document Project Life monthly, and I don’t limit the number of spreads that I do per month. I print my photos at home using an Epson PictureMate PM-400 for most of my photos under 5×7 on Epson paper; Canon Pixma Pro-100 for anything larger on Kirkland photo paper (from Costco) for anything 8.5″x11″ and under. To printing journaling, elements and filler cards, I use an Epson ET-2650, and for printing on vellum, I use a Canon laser printer – LB6030w. The page protectors are held in a white 9×12 album by Studio Calico, and the 9×12 inserts I use are from Studio Calico and Ali Edwards, and the 6×8 are Simple Stories. My roller date stamp is 1Canoe2.
Left: The journal card with the pine trees is from Studio Calico‘s December 2017 kit (Northern Lights). The gold alphas are from American Crafts purchased at Target. The “FUN” chipboard piece is from Felicity Jane. The ribbon ephemera is from Simple Stories (I Am ephemera – old) and the gold heart is from Felicity Jane. The “Enjoying the Sights” stamp is from Feed Your Craft‘s “Ready to Roam” kit.
Insert: Avery index tab
Right:
“Let’s Go” stamp by Kelly Purkey (Travel Words) and “Home” stamp by Kerri Bradford (Home set – physical || digital) were stamped on vellum using StazOn ink in black. I don’t know where the journal card is from; my guess would be Studio Calico or Kelly Purkey. The “note to self” and “right here” chipboard pieces are from Felicity Jane. The gold alphas are from American Crafts purchased at Target. The white pen is Uniball Signo, and the white ink is Brilliance in Moonlight White.
Both: not sure where the journal cards are from. Grey ink used is Kelly Purkey in Urban.
Left: Globe sticker from Simple Stories (Posh – digital). “Exploring” and “Around Town” stamps are Feed Your Craft‘s “Ready to Roam” kit. “Delicious” stamp is from Feed Your Craft‘s Let’s Eat set (no longer available). “Let’s Eat” chipboard sticker is from Ali Edwards’ Foodie Collection chipboard bundle.
Right: The “Bloom” heart is from Ali Edwards’ Stories By The Month physical kit from March 2020 and the “Hello Garden” sticker is from the SBTM physical kit from April 2019. The hearts are from Felicity Jane (no longer available).

Hope you’re staying healthy (and sane!)
