This post is a little later than I would’ve liked, but there was a little hiccup.. I was editing the video, getting ready to do the voiceovers, when I realized that I simply was not jiving with the second spread. I had to stop everything and go re-record the second page. Normally, I add things as I go, but I don’t go back and add more unless it’s something small.. This time, I was almost finished then I added labels with the date to everything since my photos weren’t in chronological order. When it was all said and done, it felt like there was too much stuff and it just wasn’t me. Anyway, I hope you will still enjoy the video..
Here are the details about how I documented this month:
I document Project Life monthly, and I don’t limit the number of spreads that I do per month. I print my photos at home using an Epson PictureMate PM-400. To printing journaling, elements and filler cards, I use an Epson ET-2650. The photo pocket pages are held in a Pinnacle album from Walmart, and the 6×12 inserts I use are from Becky Higgins – Design H My roller date stamp is 1Canoe2.
Left: the “February memories” card is from Ali Edwards‘ (AE) Stories By The Month Kit (SBTM) from February of this year, and the hearts are from AE’s Week In The Life 2019 collection – the transparency bundle which is sold out but she still has the digital available for purchase. The “In The Kitchen Card” was based on a journal card from In A Creative Bubble (In The Kitchen) and used in conjunction with the digital stamps. The white word phrase and circle stickers are from AE’s Foodie Collection.
Right: the “Good Times” stamp is from an old documenter kit from Studio Calico and the ink I used is “neon pink” by Hero Arts. The “Fun & Games” card was edited – originally from In A Creative Bubble’s Family Fun Journaling Cards. The word phrase and circle sticker is from AE’s Foodie Collection. The pink heart is from AE’s SBTM kit from February, the grey heart is old, and the pink label is an old planner sticker from Sadie’s Stickers.
Left: the 4×6 journal card is from Ali Edwards‘ (AE) Story By The Month (SBTM) kit from February, the closed rings sticker I made myself, and the heart sticker is also from the SBTM kit from February. The label is from Kelly Purkey and the blush heart is old, the “hello” chipboard sticker is an old one from Studio Calico. The Instax photo was printed on an Instax SP-2 printer. The pink word tiles are old and the amperstand is from a package of stickers by Project Life.
Right: The “Crazy Weather” chipboard sticker is from Studio Calico. The “Snow Day Vibes” is from In A Creative Bubble’s Let It Snow Journaling Cards No. 2 set. The pink label is an old planner sticker from Sadie’s Stickers. Finally, the “Remembering You” sticker is from AE’s SBTM kit from February.
