Hi friends!
Hope you are liking the new layout of this little blog. I think I might do an intro video for it just because it’s got a couple of features that I don’t want you to miss out on!
Anyway, let’s get to the business of why we’re here today… we didn’t travel the last week of February or the first third of March, so these layouts are just about stuff around the home and an update from Canada!
The first spread from March did not want to come together easily… I am not sure what was going on with me but I was extremely indecisive! I’m just glad it looked beautiful in the end!
I printed the most of the photos using the Canon Pixma Pro-100 (which has been discontinued) on Costco Kirkland 8.5″x11″ photo paper; the others were printed using the Epson PictureMate PM-400 on the Epson paper that comes with the ink and paper pack. I’m using a 10×8 album by Ali Edwards; the pocket pages I use are the ones with the two 4×4 and two 6×4 pockets.
LEFT SPREAD
The stripe cardstock paper, February label, and 3 hearts sticker are from Paper Person Shop’s Be Mine kit (physical | printable papers). The gold heart is old from Felicity Jane. I don’t remember where the tag or the pink star is from.
The floral journal card and the stripe cardstock paper are from Paper Person Shop’s Be Mine kit (physical | printable papers | printable journal cards). The Weekend Fun sticker is from Ali Edwards Take Me Away chipboard shapes. The date was stamped using the Project Life x Heidi Swap roller date stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
RIGHt SPREAD
For the title card, I used printable vellum and Dura-Lar underneath it; for the text, I used the WRMK Foil Quill in the teal from the Peacock set, and the card is from the February Stay Sweet Documenter kit from Studio Calico (just the journal cards | digital cards). I don’t remember where the stars are from.
The gold heart is from Felicity Jane. I don’t remember where the light blue and gold stars journal card is from, but I’m thinking it’s from Studio Calico; the colorful swoosh is from the February Stay Sweet Documenter kit from Studio Calico (just the journal cards | digital cards). The tag is an old one from IKEA; the reinforcer is an old one from Target. The “Love This” stamp is part of the Snapshot stamp set from Studio Calico. The date was stamped using the Project Life x Heidi Swap roller date stamp. The ink used with the stamps is the Clean Slate Color Theory ink pad. I used a Sharpie S-gel pen in 1.0 for the journaling.
The striped card is from the Good day Sunshine Documenter kit from Studio Calico (digital journal cards). The white books die cut is from Paper Person Shop’s Currently Reading kit which is sold out but available digitally. The tags are old from IKEA; the reinforcers are old from Target. The “March Looks Like” sticker is from an old Stories By the Month kit from Ali Edwards.
The “It’s Been Two Years” card and dumpster fire die cut are from Paper Person Shop’s Endemic kit which is sold out but available digitally. The rainbow card “Embracing This Season For What It Is” and heart sticker are from Ali Edwards.
